While we're on pet peeves, (we still are, aren't we?<G>) I would like to see a material preview on both a flat and a curved surface. It would help ever-so-much in figuring out what's going to happen when light hits it. I am a relatively new user (since July) of A:M and I think its great. I have impressed the h*ll out of my business partner with some simple fly-bys and 3D renderings. I have found it a little lacking for pure geometrics, but I knew it was better suited to amorphic shapes that move. I wouldn't care if the interface wasn't integrated as long as I could call the different modules from within the others — sorta like the "software suite" concept that's soooooo hot right now. I'm no crazy about the dongle, either, but then again, I'm not crazy about going to the dentist. Both are necessary evils. $ 0.02 from Charlie
