Imagine the back of your PC if you had three programs that needed Dongles, or five?>> One of my clients is a software developer in the industrial manufacturing market and with price tags of $10,000.00 per license, they surely do use a dongle on there product. I do need to run it to get screen dumps for literature and manuals and having even more than one dongle on the system is a real PITA. I wonder what would happen if two companies decided to buy there dongle from the same source. They'd be close enough to confuse the software but different enough to not let either program run. I just don't like the suckers. Of course, I wouldn't want someone to steal a $700 program from me either. I guess if you live in a high crime neighborhood you need barbed wire. 🙁 Charlie
