I've been thinking that maybe if enough of us users of AM were to create a
petition to software development companies, if we might be able to show them
that there is enough of a market for effects modules for them to produce some.
From what I understand, 3D Studio and the IPAS effects are created by The
Yost Group. Adobe Photoshop Filters, Kai's Power Tools, and Aldus Gallery
Effects are all able to be applied over time, albiet in a 2D environment. Most
of the code would already seem to written for most effects. If 10 or 20
thousand people were to hand these and other companies a signed request for
development, I wonder what their reaction would be?
