#Depth Buffer
Michael,
PMFJI, if you have access to Premiere or any other program that supports Chroma
type effects, I would render the Vistapro clouds over a pure blue background
(or any other color that definately will not be in either image that you are
going to composite). Render you A:M objects, then in premiere put the A:M
objects on one of the main video tracks and the VideoPro objects on the overlay
tracks. Call up the "transparancy" option and use chroma key. There are several
variables that can be adjusted to "Key" out a range of colors, soften the edges,
and blend the two together. It's a very powerful trick that saves me alot of
time.
I'm sure there are several other ways to do what you want and hopefully others
will chime in!
See ya!
