I was wondering what the speed of the FoxPro retrieval and search run is under MS-DOS. Because I was thinking (and I not trying to start an argument) that the second CPU w/NT might be making up for the OS overhead of NT and thus give the apperence that the app. is running twice as fast. I don't have access to a dual chip machine to test. And the other thing that I can't figure is how NT could Multi-thread is a single threaded DOS app. Bill Rockhold
