Tony,
just want to let you know. I'm use 386Max, too and Imagine runs without
problems. You have to use the program memlimit.exe before you run Imagine.
try this
memlimit nodpmi,0
before starting Imagine and after leaving it use
memlimit remove
to go back to normal.
