Um, I hate to tell you, but you're running out of memory. Objects, or parts of
objects disappearing are the classic "you're running out of memory" symptom. I
was having problems myself with my P90 and 16M of memory, running low on
complex scenes. 8M is really tight for Imagine on a PC, try upping your memory
to 16M or more (I have 32M and things work great). I know it's expensive, but
at least it's an answer.
