Daniel, Your GW comes set up for windows. It loads something called EMM386.sys in your config.sys file ( a start-up file). If you remove emm386 then you won't see that message ever again, but it does some useful things. . . Most people use a feature of DOS called multi-boot to have different start-up configurations to allow for compatibility between certain programs or get the best performance from an application. If this is too simple a message, sorry; likewise if it's greek to you. If you want to give it a stab, I can send you a multiboot configuration for config.sys and autoexec.bat(the other start-up file) that is imagine friendly. Regards, Ed
