I reset my swap file to 50 Mb as you suggested, and I don't seem to have any of
the sluggish mouse problem. If 50 Mb is large enough for Renderize, then I
certainly don't need it any larger for anything else that I run.
My system is 486DX/33Mz, 16Mb RAM, 2 hard drives (boot drive is "C" and the
swap file is on "D"), SmartDrive w/ 2Mb cache.
