The problem may not be universal, but with my Toshiba 3501 CD-ROM drive and
FWB's CD-ROM Toolkit driver (recommended by Toshiba), ALL of Broderbund's
Living Book series (i.e. Ruff's Bone, Little Monster Goes to School, Tortoise
and the Hare, etc.) hard crash with a bus error. According to Broderbund,
there is a incompatablity between the FWB's and their software. I wish I would
have at least bought the MAC/Windows CD's instead of the MAC only. Live and
learn!
I'd buy a PowerMac, but honestly, I really despise the MAC OS. There really
isn't any allowance for hacking around and usually when I try, I end up @#!*ing
everything up!
