<< I am having trouble with skin. I made two objects that have the same number of vertices. One is a shoulder/upper arm and the other is the forearm. I went by all the rules in the book, I get no errors, but the shoulder and part of the upper arm does not get skinned. Any suggestions appreciated. >> It's hard to say without seeing it, but here's how I INTERPRET your message….It sounds like you are trying to skin one lofted object to another without slicing both of them. Generally, you can't skin one lofted & possibly capped mesh to another. To obtain a continuous skinned surface described by the 2 meshes, slice them both and rename the CS objects as necessary for the single skinned resulting object. Even if the vertices count for the 2 meshes is identical, you still can have problems if the numbered vertices for one CS are rotated out of alignment with respect to the adjacent CS's' vertices, causing the skinned surface to tear, etc.. Also, make sure you have your WRAP L/P/Both parameters set properly. Make sure WELD is off when lofting the controll lattice meshes. BILL
