Yes, I configured 3DS VIBCFG for a VESA compatible selection and tried
running it with no drivers, with my old driver and then with the
driver that came with the card, but was unable to run 3DS at all in
either configuration. I took the card back today and have
re-installed my old VGA, 256K card. Which brings up the question (if
you are allowed to offer an unbiased answer): what is one or more of
the most powerful/easy to install graphics cards for 3DS? Lets
assume price is not a consideration (it sorta is, depending on what I
get for the bucks… you know?) Reality is, I can spend up to $1500
or so if I have to, but I would like to know what the "best" is. Or
at least a line-up of the best. I read lots of reviews, but the
reviewers arent coming from the perspective of using 3D Studio.
