Hi Bob Yes one must convert to a polymesh befor dxf-ing to 3ds and it
works great autosurf has real power I an having lots of fun with it.
but I have a lot of work to do to make any tral use of it. I thinnk
autosurf can be a real help in modeling for 3ds . Autodesk neads to
tie things to gether more thow. Ben
