Hi Martin – Hollywood F/X is an Arexx interface to LightWave. It presents a single screen where you follow a straight line procedure to create a LightWave effect with your images. First you select the effect you want from an animated menu which demos each selection and gives you a short discription. Once you've selected the effect you then provide it with the necessary images or sequences. A file requester lets you define each image/sequence required. In some instances there is a background option also. You then select rendering options as well as resolution, and finally select the file name and location for the output. Then you click on render and take a break. The program takes control of LightWave and creates the frames. You can select A4000 anim if you want to run the sequence on a 4000 from RAM. If you like the provided effects, the program is great. I've tried several and the results are fabulous. Take a look at the demo tape to see the product's output. In the next release they plan on having a feature to let the user create their own effects. Great program – I've never done anything with LightWave and my first effect took me 4 minutes, or so.
