Here is more info: Consumer Version of 3D Studio is Release 2.01a. The software is not different or crippled in any way. It is ONLY available in CANADA. It costs around $600. It is NOT upgradable to 3 or 4, however there is a coupon for a discount if you purchase those products at full price. It ships with a DIFFERENT hardware lock, which will not work on any other version of 3D Studio. There is 30 days free telephone support from the Canadian Distributer, further support is available here on the ASOFT forum. -Brian
