I tried your suggestions, and got none of them to work 🙁
In the line:
char string[] = { '\0x9b',"0 p",'\0' };
aren't you mixing up characters and strings?
My current thinking is that there seems to be no easy, convenient
solution. I _knew_ there was a reason why I hated C! 🙂
