To Christian thanks for the reply lets aleast keep a dialog going because I
need all the help I can get and maybe interest others
Anyway let me tell you my background I'm a 39 yr. old guitarist,a part time
guitar teacher who over the last 20 years has played just about every venue you
can think of in the Phila.,S.Jersey Jersey,Delware and Maryland shores areas.I
and after all the frustrations and egos [and a unsuccessful marriage] I still
love to play and create even more now then when I started.Any way I,m self
taught and do everything by ear my guitar chops are hot,keybds,passable for my
applications,under- stand Midi basics but find sequencing frustrating but find
the idea
of composing thru the computer fascinating.Heres My setup: Amiga 500 w/1meg ram
{when I get the bucks soon I'll get a hard drive} and will be getting all the
nessary hard ware and software within the month.I write guitar tunes in the
Satriani fashion and have com- posed my backgrounds for my riffing on Casio and
Yamaha keybds. and then banging everything into my 4 track and had some
interesting results. I'm interested in things like Super Jam or anything I can
create my own backgrounds to my analog 4 tracker.Maybe you could sugest what I
need to really get going.Thanks once again and stay in touch
