Hi, I've got a question about using WShell as a port. Under the heading, "Communicating with other ARexx hosts", the WShell manual summarizes a "handshake protocol". (p. 80) Although this description is clear enough, it is still difficult for me to understand the specifics of how this is done. I've learned a lot about ARexx in the past six months, and I've written, and use hosts based on the 'Simple_Host' model, but overall, I've still got a lot to learn. Does anyone have an example of this kind of script? I'm not clear on how to pass my host address as an argument. I'm also not clear how to 'recieve' WShell's 'command message' that would include its own host address (e.g. WSH_5). In short, an example that covers # 1-4 on page 80 would be just the ticket. Thanks, Greg
