Your PREP.LHA arrived promptly and dissolved nicely. Thanks.
My original plan was to re-partition the HD now, and look for a HD expansion
at a convenient future time. I'm having second thoughts about that. Reading
the docs which you sent along with PREP, it seems that you first do PREP, and
then you format the drive. At the moment, my 3.1 utilities won't format the
drive (they can't SEE it); I would hesitate to take the first step and then be
stuck on the second.
As you suggest, I'll hold back and look into SCSI expansion first.
