Aren't we comparing apples and oranges here? One thing is to emulate a different system that uses the same instruction set (same CPU, even). It's very different to emulate a completely different CPU architecture (such as the PPC – 680×0, and UUI's 680×0 – 80586 (which we haven't seen any benchmarks on, other than Jim Drew's comment that animations will not cut it.
