I had the same experience with Magic WB when I first installed it. It has nothing to do with unplugging your powered-up CDROM (although that could cause other more SERIOUS problems). The new MWB look is nice but the 1.2 upgrade seems to change/delete the tooltypes for some of the DOSDRIVERS in your DEVS drawer. You must not have had the IBM PCO/PC1 drivers installed or you would have noticed that they too were messed up. All you need to do to correct the problem is replace the current (MWB modified) CD0 driver in your SYS:DEVS/DOSDRIVERS drawer with the original from your CDROM driver software. Actually, you could just reinter the proper tooltypes or reinstall the CDROM driver software and that should correct the problem as well. Depending on the driver software you are using, the CD0 tooltypes vary a little. I am familiar with ASIM2.0 and the WB3.1 drivers if you need help with the tooltypes for these. Good Luck Tony
