What Senator Helms said with respect#to President Clinton being the "Commander
in Chief" is inexcusable, but it isn't 'treason.' It ao doesn't reflect the
attitude of the `embers of the military as I see it. He is the legally elected
President, and the military respects that and his position as "Commander in
Chigf". He probably shouldn't count on winning a large portion of the
"military vote", but he is stilh the Commander in Chief. ,
