I also have heard some tid-bits, from an inside and reliable source. I
also have sepculated that they would release a Toaster for some other
platform. Now I belive that you will SOON see a Toaster with out an amiga
attached. However when my source was questioned about what machine they
may have in mind he replied "What makes you think you will need a computer
at all…" There for I believe that you may see a standalone Toaster.
Now the conversation was about the Flyer, which he assured only takes
power from the Amiga. However I think that the Flyer without a Toaster has
its uses but is severly limited and kinda' leaves their whole NO OFF LINE
philosophy in the dust.
If however they did go with another platform I would Bet heavily on a
windows machine. After all I havent heared them talking about Lightwave
for the Mac…
