Let me jump in and answer a couple of your questions.
The version of the software you received is the latest and greatest. The orange
dot disks are a couple of releases back.
The mac flavored SCSI connectors/cables will work just fine with your Amiga
SCSI devices.
The CDROM software that comes with your Flyer is essentially Asimware's CDROM
FS which supoorts all native drives in the same family, so if you have a newer
rev Toshiba, you won't have any problems, it should work just fine.
Despite all my complaining about the Qauntum HD problems I am very pleased with
the preliminary release of FLyer with regard to it's video/audio quality. You
and I have discussed on a number of occasions what editing options you were
looking into, I believe your confidence in the Newtek product will be more than
justified once 4.0 is released. Keep in touch.
