I have done both reorg and Flyerformat, cache etc. on the Quantum drive. Still
the same problem persists. My rebooting of the computer usually consists of
shutting off the power to the tower containing the video drives (this unfreezes
the Flyer software so that I can quit) then turning the power back on to the
tower, waiting for all drives to cycle thru power up, then warm booting the
Amiga. This will usually cure the problem with the Quantum drive TEMPORARILY.
Incedently, your model numbers for the HDs match mine exactly.
On Monday I am going to attempt to get my dealer to honor their original quote
and exchange the Quantum for the original model IBM that was supposed to be
delivered to me. They made NO representation that the IBM would be switched
with a Quantum, all they said was that Newtek had sent them the drives. Perhaps
you sholuld contact your dealer as well.
