Saunders, You still don't need to get into tables. Here is a solution to your problem. I am just listing the relevant cells. A D E F 001SYMBOL TR.ST.% TR.ST.$ PRICE 002 003 AT&T 10.00 MAX(M3:N3) 20.00 Then, way off to the side (M and N are arbitrary) you have: M N 001 002 003 +F3*(1-(D3/100)) +E3 As best I could follow from your message, the figure you are going to be changing in this case is in cell F3. If it goes up, the figure in E3 will go up as well. If it goes down, E3 will not change. You are still going to get that "Circular!" prompt, but you can ignore it. As to your "whistle and bell," I am not clear as to what you mean. Do you mean that if the stock hits a high, and then goes down, you want it to trigger when it hits the high again? If so, I think you will have to have some manual input as to which high figure you want to reach. I hope this works for you. I know nothing about the stock market, but just followed your "AT&T" example. Don
