Computer Discount in Denver (303) 825-2943 say they carry clay coated paper
for the Canon PJ 1080A color printer for $10.95/roll. I've just ordered
it, but have not yet received it so I don't know how well it works yet. I
have also been told to try the coated paper that use to be a requirement
for Savin copiers when they used a wet toner – it should be available at
any Savin dealer. Also, if that paper works, then the coated (slick) paper
used for mimeograph machines should work equally as well. The propblem
with regular paper is the rag content which absorbs wet ink. The coating on
these other papers prevent the absorption process and therefore should give
very good results.
