I also have Defender of the Crown, & I havent had any problems playing through the game. The only thing I can figure is that your disks are slightly off, because if you'll notice when the program enters each different phase of the program it does some sort of error checking (For Copy Protection) so I would bring the game back to the dealer you bought it from & get another. By the way you can make backups of the disks, but the first time the program enters a different phase you must replace the backups with the originals. Hope this Helps. <Barry>
