#Amiga 2000 Keyboard Fix
I have rev 1.2 of the 2000 motherboard with the new keyboard, the one with
the missing first key after a boot. I have called CBM and every repair
shop I know of and no one has the fix yet. I was told by CBM that the
information could be found in Tech. Topic #19 which refered to page 14 of
the schemetics. The fix is rumored to be removal of 1 or 2 capasitors near
the keyboard connector on the motherboard. If anyone knows which
capasitors and other details relating to this fix, please let me know. I
KNOW, I will void my waranty if I do it myself, but I can't afford to have
my machine tied up in the repair shop for two weeks. If this is a simple
fix, I can do it just before my waranty expires anyway.
