Let's see- ST $300 Extra floppy $200 (Almost as much floppy storage) Synth $300 OS-9 $200 (?? Price is a guess, for multitasking) Total $1000 Now you can do almost as much as an Amiga, although not in as many colors or as fast graphically (in other words, you're hurtin' visually). Now if you can get your hard drive for $300 (providing the Amiga isn't available discounted), you might have yourself a decent system for the same price as an Amiga. In either case you'd need a monitor, and you'd probably want RAM expansion. Now let's add a numeric co-processor; whoops! will all my ST software be able to use it? My Amiga software will. Now lets add a 68020 board, a Gen-Locker, a video digitizer and an audio digitizer. Now we've got a system! Does the ST work with a 68020?
