#Unarc-ing
Hello, Can someone show me the syntax for the use of the utility Unarc in the
following situation: EQUIPMENT: A500 ONE drive only!
I have the Unarc utility AND the file to be Unarc'd on the same disk. I have
been UNarcing in this manner: COPY File.arc ram: CD ram: Unarc file
then….
COPY ram:file df0:
No real problems. BUT now…..
The file I'm trying to unarc is too LARGE to fit in RAM at the same time that
the un-arc'd files are being created. I have only 500K avalable.I get a "DISK
FULL" error (in reference to the RAM disk) during the un-arcing process.
THE QUESTION: How do I un-arc WITHOUT going thru RAM? Essentially, I looking
for the syntax to unarc disk-to-disk using ONE drive and TWO different
disks.(The WB disk and the disk I want my un-arc'd file on). Actually…there
are 3 disks involved. The original WB disk I boot the system from, the disk
containing the ARC'd file, and the disk I want my UN-arc'd file to go too. Hope
I made this clear. Thanks,
Al (I-got-to-get-a-second-drive!) Saveriano
