#A2000
Dave, I know you're not really the one to ask, but I thought I'd give it
a try. {_While I'm not normally an impatient fellow, I've had an A2000 on
order since July. I realize the first batch of 2000's are gone, but my dealer
didn't even receive one of them! {_Now, almost six months later, I'm still
waiting, and the person I promised this 128 system to is getting quite
antsy. Any idea when I might possibly see this beast?
.
.
Also, you mentioned the 68030 would cost $800-1000 over the cost of a 68020
based board. I know {_you guys have to make a profit{_, but 250 percent on
one chip? Motorola's selling the 030 16.{_7 MHz for $400 and the 20 MHz
for $650 (I think), and that's not even{_ in bulk purchases.
.
.
Anyway, I appreciate all th{_e work you've done thus far, and look forward
to any new developments.
