Not all of the system is written in C. Exec and all of the I/O device drivers
are written in Assembly (speed!). A few of the libraries and resources are
also in Assembly. Other parts of the system are in C with some functions
downcoded for speed (e.g.: blitter interface). DOS is mostly in BCPL
(Metacomco).
