Thanks for the response! I did the suggested things for partitioning in all previous attempts. The problem may be that I did MORE than the suggested things. First, I used SCSIFormat before anything else. Second, I used "preformat-r" after setting up the expansion icon, and before the DOS format commands. Either of these may have been the problem, or possibly the old PALs (I haven't tried multiple partitions since the new PALs went in last night). I will try again tomorrow from SCSIFormat, with the new PALs, and WITHOUT "preformat-r". I will let you know the results. Thanks again! David Nipper 75756,1645 p.s.
