No I don't want to see all files at ALL times. I want to toggle back and
forth between the ability to do so however.
Why do I want to see "obscure" files? Well sometimes with Whap! I just want
to boot up the raw data files on the screen, or to look at the phone directory
of a terminal program on the screen wiuthout booting the terminal program, or
any number of other reasons. Plus I just want to know what's there, I feel
"out of control" not knowing what's there, besides the practical necessity of
it (at times).
But you are right, generally, to execute programs from windows there's
"clutter" and it's hard to find the program you want to run if there's a ton of
icons everywhere.
How to toggle this? Hmm, not sure. I'd prefer a little checkmark on a
dropdown menu, but I'm not sure that's a wise idea for everyone. Perhaps an
unusual keystroke, like Amiga F or something.
