I desoldered R140 as described in that Amazing Computing article. I did
not replace the other resistor to lower the video output level as also
described in that article. I can't see any difference so far. The biggest
improvement I have been able to achieve is by changing the palette. I'm
now able to produce acceptable results directly off the A1000. What is the
prive range of that VI-500? BTW, what software do you use when working
with the A1000 and video?
