Brian, I do not believe that it is _clear_, as you put it. NewTek may well have their own ways of doing things. For instance, I had designed, implemented, and sold a device that uses these techniques which was used on the Radio Shack TRS-80c a number of years ago called the "CoCoGrey". This took the flying video, as the HAM-E does, and reformatted qit such that a completely new resolution/mode was available on the TRS-80c. This idea, as you see, has been in our stables for quite some time, more than 4 years in fact. Yet, we didn't mention it, other than in some blue-sky messages here in CIS sevaral years ago. The only conclusion you can properly draw from this is that NewTek's support will not be forthcoming for the HAM-E board.
