Steve, since the VT is an internal device, the board is one place where the info should be; it should also be in the manual – that is also the law. As for the class certification, I don't believe that it's required to be on the board; The manual, however, is required to contain the following statement: "…It has been type tested and complies with the limits of a Class B computing device in accordance with specifications in subpart J of part 15 of the FCC requirements…" There is a lot more that has to be in the manual, but that's about in the middle of it, and posititivly identifies the type of classification the thing has. If the notice says class B, all is wonderful. If it says class A, then the toaster can only be used in an industrial or laboratory setting. If it doesn't say anything, then it can't be sold at all.
