Keith, I have an A2500 with a FlickerFixer and 1950 monitor and I'm still trying to solve the problem you describe. I have a one inch black border on the right edge of the screen when the screen is centered. Using the external monitor controls I'm able to get rid of the border, but then the screen is shifted so far to the right that the right edge of the screen is almost cut off and the screen is not centered. It was easy to cure when I'm using my hard drive. I just changed the Workbench preferences. However, when I boot from a floppy, which doesn't have its preferences changed, I have the same problem again. Since I use my floppies mostly for copy-protected games, I have not changed the Preferences on these disks. Also, I have a large disk collection, and many of them are not on my harddrive. I would like to avoid having to change Preferences on all these disks, both games and non-games alike. I am still looking for a solution. Apparently, there are no internal monitor controls that will cure the problem. Someone told me the problem is inherent in VGA monitors, which is the mode in which I must use my monitor with the FlickerFixer. If you find out a cure, please let me know and I will do the same.
