The definition of a residential area is one that is zoned residential, as
opposed to one that is zoned commerical or industrial (Don't you play Sim
City? :^). No electronic device which uses Mhz rate clocks can be used in a
residential area w/o a class B approval.
The FCC is _generally_ a paper tiger, but that's only because they lack the
enforcement people… they certainly have the rules, and the punishments,
to back up these regulations.
There is a fine levied per unit sold on the dealer, and the manufacturer.
The equipment, to add insult to injury, can be confiscated.
Those are the kind of things that small Amiga companies just don't need.
