I don't own cakewalk just convert the files. Midi format capablitites is a must for me now that I have updated to the newer version of KCS II. Love the ability to read any of the vast quantity of .MID files available and to be able to use the IBM converter to convert .wrk cakewalk or .asc calkwalk files to .Mid format so Amiga users can here them also is taking up alot of my free time. Even converting Adlib .Rol files to .Mid is proving a excellent alternative all though time consuming(.Rol to .Asc to .wrk to Mid all through utilities). Seems cakewalk 3.0 changed there .wrk file format though and the cake2mid utility won't recognize it. Have heard some Band-in-Box .Mid converts and called the demo number…very impressive does it uses its own format for storage? If so will have to wait for another conversion program to hear more. Remember I am doing this all with transformer. Steve
