I think I had enough with Mr Lippert and his company. I think the sysops should jump in and put him in his place. All I've been hearing these past few days is how wonderfull his company is and how bad everybody else is (at least 3 other companies). First of all I must say that this is not an attack to Cltd or its boss. But I just get upset when the sysops used to say that NO ADVERTISEMENT with prices and so on will be tolorated in CIS. Well I heard enough. If you want a press announcement do just that, but don't go around criticizing other companies when these other companies are not represented. Also your remarks about other products plus the comment to some users "why don't you tell them about our products and how satisfied you are" has taken your authority out of limits. I think the users should know that you have already folded one company and left plenty of users out in the cold. I guess its like, 'the profits stop might as well start a new company so that we want have to grand our life warranty of our products'. Then you were saying that you don't announce products that you will not deliver. Whatever happened to the C-64 digitizer, TV tuner printers and so on. Promising and not delivering was one of your favorate games in the C-64. I own a Techni-soft 4Mbyte board which I just got a week ago and I must say that I am impressed. I bought mine at about $700. It operates perfectly. To do the same with your board I would need to spend close to $2000. Maybe T-S had some early problems but I can say to you and all users that the problems are fixed and they are now selling the best board in the market. The company is a small one (remember when you started Ed!) but they are trying very hard to get everything organized. Why is it that you talk about their board like that. Are you afraid of competition (I think it was competition that shut Cardco down and made the C-64 a success). So keep your mouth shut as far as other companies are concern and devote your time in making your products PRESENTIBLE!!! (continued…..)
