Examination of the 86 pin CPU connector will tell you that none of the
video lines, except system clock lines, are connected. The only two failure
modes possible are overloading of the clock signals or radiation of RF into
the Agnus, either via the clock lines or induced into the syncs. There is
no way to electronically mess with the timing of any of these lines; they
are generated externally.
