Well, the Green screen must be "Normal" if such a thing can be clamined on a system running another system. As I also get it just before the blue "Welcome to Macintosh" logo. Or rather, just at the picture of the little MAC asking for the disk OS. I have also seen the system running on several other 2000's and 3000's and they all get the green screen but only for about 1 sec. then the blue one pops up. I can only guess that it is a combo. of several things, your system seems to be quite shall we say expanded, with several different 3rd party hardware add-ons and while that is not bad, perhaps in some way, 1, 2 or more of them are having a problem with the A-MAX. I am using an A3000 with 1 meg of chip ram, 1 meg of fast ram. The AT Bridgeboard, a VGA card, a 3 1/2 High Den. MS-DOS floppie, the A-MAX-II with a Cutting Edge MAC compatible floppie, a supra 2400 modem, a Citizen 200 GX printer the CBM external 3 1/2 drive, and a data switch for the 1950's output to switch between VGA and Amiga viedo modes. All of these things seem to have no problem running with the A-MAX II, I have used Wingz, Excel, Lotus 123, dbase word perfect, I use Termulator (a mac PD term program) and I have even played Megaroids (A P.D. Astroids mac game) All of these things running in productivity mode or Hi-res mode, with the MMU on, and eather the RAM Catch on or off depending on the application. So, I would have to once again, think it is one or possibly more of your devices that is the problem, have you tried your A-MAX on another system set up somewhat like your own? Or even on just a standard A2000/3000? If so, and it works there, then I suggest calling readysoft and seeing what they have to say.
