Perfect Sound (now at 3.1, I believe) is a good package that includes both
hardware and software.
AudioMaster III is a highly regarded software (only) package for working
with audio samples. If the software that comes with whatever digitizer
that you purchase does not do everything that you need done, you might
purchase AMIII as a separate program to complement the sampler package.
