Um… They're kind of right. Populous will play on an A3000, but at a
MUCH faster rate. This makes it a much more challenging game, especially
at the higher levels. (Heck, even the lowest levels become a challenge!)
But it *is* fun to play at that speed, especially when playing against a
human opponent. (At the Amiga Developers Conference last June I spent some
time playing Populous on an A3000, both against a human player and the
computer. Lots of fun.)
You don't need a new copy. You *might* need a newer version of Project
D. You use a program called PopDecoder on the Project D disk, which first
showed up on the July 90 update.
