Mr. Moose (couldn't resist), I am having some trouble digitizing with Digi-View. I am able to get some photos with decent result s, unless there is a fair amount of dark content. Although this seems to me a reasonable limit to the system. I am however using a great amount of line-art for newsletters and cagalogs. This is where things fall apart. A straight line .03mm dark and crisp will show to be between 4-6 pixels wide, and in soft grey tones using Dpaint (or anything else). To retrace a simple drawing tak ees me about 6-6 1/2 hours of clean-up. (No joy here). I have an Amiga 1000,Panasonic WV-1410, C-mounted Vivatar 28mm lens, 2 Co ol white circular lamps @ 22W each. And a decent copy stand. I can move the lights wherever I choose, but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I also have a Polarizing filter, and that seems to buy little help as well. I have tried stopping the lens down, to see if I was throwing too much light on the target, with only poorer results. I have also tried setting the levels on the control screen, to very little improvement. I have checked out my cable, camera, software at my local computer shop, and have replaced the cable. (I couldn't get a sharp image at all with the old cable). Switching lenses does not give improved image with line-art subjects. I have also tried to take the image in the Line-Art mode, and you cannot tell what the subject was to begin with. In the B&W mode, I have a lack of crispness. Any help would be very much welcome!! Thank-You in advance, Bob Felts, 72767,642 P.S. I have uploaded a Digi-Pic to the AmigaArts forum that does your product some justice, you may wish to check it out, Viking lzh on New Uploads. Hope to hear from you soon, Bob
