Christopher, thanks for the hints! I seem to have enough light, (any more
and I start to lose the image! Too much light does as much harm as not
enough. I also have worked the brightness, contrast, and sharpness so much
that I have just about worn the mouse away. BEST RESULTS take about 6-6 1/2
hours clean-up on a fairly straight forward picture. (No joy at all.) Even
with sha rpness,contrast,brightness, a .03mm line comes out about 4-6
pixels wide. And all in soft gray tones. Do you get CRISP images on
line-art?? Seems not possible, but that may be the quirks of my system.
