Mike, The trackmouse in the new Mac Notebooks I beleive is one of the best
laptop pointer devices. (Gawd I HATE having to say nice things about Macs –
the machines are O.K. but the prices and profits per machine are OBSCENE
and most of the Mac advocates I know personally I wish I didn't ;^} ).
There is a thumball positioned such that you can manipulate it with either
thumb without rmoving your fingers from the keyboard. Te mouse button is
actually two curved :spacebar" type things that outline the ball from the
11 – 1 O'clock on top and the 5 – 7 O' clock on the bottom. It is placed
very well – at least for my hands.
