JR-Comm Problems
I am a dedicated Access user, but I have had to give it up due to its
instability under 2.0. I am now trying to bring up JR-Comm, and am having
some problems.
I am running 2.04 on a 3000, with 6M of RAM. Whenever I try and put JR-Comm
into interlace mode, the program crashes. The screen closes and the
interlace screen comes up, but the screen control window does not open and
the mouse begins moving jerkily. In a few seconds the system crashes,
displaying symptoms of runaway memory accesses. It seems to work fine in
non-interlace mode. Is this a known problem, and if so, is there a known
solution?
Also, I notice that JR-Comm doesn't support CIS Quick B, only B+. What is
the difference between these two formats? B+ seems pretty fast to me.
I hope I can get this problem resolved. I'm currently still doing my
modem-ing from my 1000, so I can run Access under 1.3.
